Hello, my name is Adele, owner of Sweet Couture Cakes. Baking has always been more than a hobby for me — it’s a lifelong passion. My love for creating beautiful, delicious desserts began at a young age in the kitchen with my “Ouma,” my South African grandmother, who first inspired my appreciation for the art of baking.
After moving to Canada from England, I pursued my passion further by completing several baking courses, eventually becoming a certified Baking Instructor. Today, I not only create custom cakes but also enjoy teaching the art of cake decorating.
Fifteen years ago, I turned my passion into a business, specializing in artisan cakes for weddings, showers, and special events. My signature style features elegant sugar flowers and intricate detailing, thoughtfully designed to make each cake as unforgettable as the celebration itself.
